Here is a link to an interesting article which covers an interview with Google’s Matt Cutts where he discusses how to improve your site’s Google search ranking.

Article Cash Robots Recommendation and Review

Davion Wong is right on it with his Article Cash Robots.  I can tell you that I practice what he is teaching.  Just as an example my last three articles hold the following Google rankings for their respective keywords:

  • Article #1 is ranked #7 of 375,000 listings on a broad match and #4 out of 10,100 listings on a phrase match. Google keyword tool shows 880 searches a month.
  • Article #2 is ranked #1 of 354,000 listings on a broad match and #1 out of 193 listings on a phrase match. Google keyword tool shows 140 searches a month.
  • Article #3 is ranked #16 of 2,390,000 listings on a broad match and #4 of 247,000 on a phrase match. Google keyword tools shows 14,800 searches a month.

Davion teaches how to pick a hot niche and then how to pick keywords that will rank in the top 10 of Google for your niche.  Then he shows you how to write an article that converts into sales for you.

It is well written and easy to follow and the price is only $7.

So if you want to learn how to drive free traffic to your website with article marketing then get your copy of Article Cash Robots and get started right away.  All of my rankings above happened within 24 hours of my article being approved by the article directory.

To your success,

If you don’t have the money for something like SEO Elite to determine where your website ranks for your targeted keywords then you can use this free resource:

This will take you more time than if you could use something like SEO Elite but it is free and it does quickly give you your position on Google, MSN and Yahoo for any keyword you enter.

Your Content and Your Web Site Traffic from Internet Search Engines

Increase Website Traffic, Search Engine Optimization Tips No Comments

I just wanted to share with you a couple of examples on how your web site content affects your web site traffic from the internet search engines.

Recently I added a site on mortgage loans and mortgage refinancing to my collection of sites. I have eleven pages of my own content. Each page is optimized for a specific keyword, such as poor credit home loans, closing costs, types of mortgage loans, etc.

Before developing the site I researched all of the keywords used with SEO Book Keyword suggestion tool.

Today while reviewing the source of some of my traffic I found a visit from a Google search on the keyword ‘how to get approved for fha with low credit’. And another one was ‘escrowed amounts for mortgages’.

Neither of these searches were anywhere near the keywords that I had so carefully chosen and targeted.  So, I followed the searches to see what I found.

Here is a snapshot of the Google search for the first keyword:

 Escrowed Amounts For Mortgages Snapshot

From this search you will see that my site ranks #5 for that keyword search out of 1,410,000.  FHA and Credit came from my title for the page but ‘get approved’ was fond in the content of my site.

If I search in SEO Keyword Suggestion Tool for the exact phrase that the visitor used to search there are no searches found. So, it is not likely a keyword that an internet marketer would ever target.

Here is the description for that page: “Poor Credit Home Loans are still available. If you have past credit problems, but still want to buy a home, don’t despair.”.

‘Get approved’ is found in the eleventh paragraph of the content, not as a keyword, in my title or in my description.

Here is a snapshot of the Google search for the second keyword:

Approved for FHA with Low Credit Snapshot

Here you will see that my site ranked #6 out of 2,210,000 for the keyword search ‘escrowed amounts for mortgages’.

Here is the description for that page:  “Ways to save money on your home closing costs. Purchase or Refinance.”.

Same story here.  The keywords are found in the title and the content.

Hope this helps to show that good content is important and that traffic does comes from your content.

To your work form home success!
